Darth Vindican was a Sith Lord who lived during the Great Galactic War, approximately 3,681 years before the Battle of Yavin. A powerful and ambitious warrior, Vindican served the Dark Council and was known for his brutality and skill in combat.

He led Sith forces in numerous campaigns against the Galactic Republic, demonstrating a ruthlessness that earned him a fearsome reputation. Vindican's goal was to expand the Sith Empire's influence and crush any opposition.

Vindican famously partnered with the younger, more aggressive Darth Malgus, recognizing his potential as a weapon for the Sith. While Vindican held a higher rank initially, he saw the raw power within Malgus. Their partnership was instrumental in several key victories for the Sith during the war, including the capture of the Corusant.

Ultimately, Darth Vindican met his end at the hands of his former apprentice, Darth Malgus. During a mission, Malgus, fueled by ambition and the desire for ultimate power, betrayed and killed Vindican, solidifying his own position within the Sith hierarchy. Vindican's legacy is one of a formidable Sith warrior whose ambition was ultimately overshadowed by a more ruthless successor.
